I have a non-stick cake pan made in...?!


Question: I have a non-stick cake pan made in!.!.!.!?
!.!.!.China! Is it safe to use!? I heard any product made in China should be avoided!. Well, I bought a cake pan at Stater Bros that was made in China but I didn't check where it was made until I got home!. I really want to bake brownies now but is it safe to cook with that pan!?

P!.S!. I am not trying to offend anyone and I hope no one is offended by this question!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You'll be fine!. The reason you should avoid products made in China is because so much is made there that it is compounding the economic problems of the US, etc!. You should try to buy domestically made items but you will find that almost impossible for everything!. Do avoid chinese made chocolates and milk products however - they have a history of poisoning people!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The Aluminum Pan is the concern here, not the country where is was made!. If your cake pan is not aluminum, then you're fine!. Personally, I always try to buy American made products anyways to support our own economy, but that's just my opinion!. China has millions of wonderful imported items, don't get me wrong and so do a lot of other countries, but our economy really needs help too!.
