I never follow a set in stone recipe when I make chili!.

I start with hamburger I usually brown one or two pounds depending on how much I want for leftovers!. After the hamburger is browned I drain all the fat off of it!. I then put at least two cans of tomato sauce & one can of paste into my pot!. I rinse the paste can out with water & pour the water into the mix!. Again depending on how large of a pot I am making I empty on or two cans of chili beans into the soup!. I sprinkle in chili seasoning until it smells like chili!. I let it simmer until it's hot and wholah! Chili!

Sometimes I will add more chili powder if when we eat it there is not enough flavor!. In my opinion chili is one of those things to make it your own special way!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hope this helps!.

Chili is ground beef, chili spices that you can buy prepackage and tomato paste!. You can add other things but let me tell you!. My work had a chili cook-off and I came in last place, because my husband told me to put wine in it!. It was horrible tasting and I was so embarrassed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I CHEAT!!! my hub doesn't like really hot, and I have a kid, so I just add taco seasoning to my ground meat (as if making tacos) then add whatever I feel!. Usually it's crushed tomatoes (they have different flavors in canned now) beans, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
