In Australia, Donna Hay is big!.!.!. She s a very popular chef and her recipe books are filled with simple recipes and tips to achieve great food!.!.!. There's quite a range of books (and a new one that looks pretty good), so have a look around for her books!.

There is also a Nigella Christmas book, but it is quite expensive, but there are plenty of recipes in it!.

Ina Garten I haven't seen her books, but from what i have seen on television, most of her cooking is very simple to a degree that is less interesting than Jamie Oliver!. Jamie Oliver is a good idea if your mum likes family style meals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the cook youself thin cook book - its from a british tv show if the same name where they make healthier alternatives to food that id kinda bad for you!. Its the only book where the diet food is actually good!!!!!!!!!! Or if you want something more indulgent, get nigela lawson's cookbook - her food is very indulgent and she pretty much ignores the current diet craze!. its like food porn!! Dont do rachael ray - shes so irritating on tv!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Seems many people like different ones!. If your still in school why not speak with the teacher who teaches cooking and sure she could guide you to the best ones!. Or maybe do a web search for popular cookbooks!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Rachael Ray has a lot of great cookbooks!. And all her recipes are super easy and for the most part, inexpensive!. My husband loves all the stuff I make from her!.
