About Tiramisu making????!

Question: About Tiramisu making!?!?!?!?
Okay, I really want to make it, yet I have alternates for mascarpone cheese because, I couldn't find it anywhere

So, could I use sour cream instead of mascarpone cheese!?
How would you think that will taste!?

And do I have to add anything or do anything to it!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Mix 1/2 pound of ricotta cheese with 1 cup of heavy cream (whipping creme) in a food processor until it forms a homogeneous cream (this substitutes for about 1 pound of mascarpone)

if you want to use sour cream - use softened cream cheese, 3 Tb!. of sour cream and 2 Tb!. of heavy cream

Don't use sour cream; it would be too soft and too tangy; use cream cheese!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
