Are jonagold apples good for pie baking?!


Question: Are jonagold apples good for pie baking!?
just curious, I always use granny smith, but I'm wondering how jonagolds would be for pie!.!.!. I have seen them listed as good for pie, but I don't know!. If you have used them for pie, can you let me know how it came out!? thanks :DWww@FoodAQ@Com

They are very good for pies, you don't have to use as much sugar with them as they are a sweeter apple than granny smiths, Www@FoodAQ@Com

This apple is a cross between a Jonathan and Golden Delicious- it is fine for baking- Www@FoodAQ@Com
