It has raw egg in it!. Probably not the best idea!.
Here is a great recipe for fudge!. Try something else chocolate instead!.

FANNIE MAY FUDGE

12 OZ SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS
2 OZ UNSWEETENED CHOCOLATE (CUT UP)
1 CUP NUTS (OPTIONAL)

MIX TOGETHER MILK, SUGAR, VANILLA & BUTTER!.
BOIL FOR 2 MINUTES
TURN OFF HEAT
ADD MARSHMALLOWS & STIR UNTIL MELTED
ADD CHOCOLATE ONE KIND AT A TIME!. STIR RAPIDLY UNTIL MELTED!.
ADD NUTS IF DESIRED

GREASE, WITH BUTTER, A 12x16x1 SHEET CAKE PAN OR TWO 9 x13 PANS

You can eat it if you like!. Most people advise against it because of the possibility of salmonella!. If you're really that worried about it, get the pasteurized in-the-shell eggs!.

I don't worry about raw eggs in batters and doughs, though!. I know I should!. I took ServSafe, I know all the risks!. But that's just it!. I understand there are risks!. We used to make cookie dough in Culinary Arts all the time just so we could eat the dough!. And if I made some kind of cake, I always had to set off batter to the side for us and our teacher to eat!. We're dangerous like that!. :]Www@FoodAQ@Com
