salt and pepper as needed after you have added some other stuff!. always try to add Fresh first if you have it!. then go to dry spices and herbs!.

saute onion in butter, green peppers too!. add to sauce!.

are you using meat!?!? instead of just plain hamburger use half hamburger and half of a ground sausage!. this is more italian version but it really works!.

add some fresh chopped tomatoes if you have any!.

dry = oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion flakes!.

the thing is with dry spices is it is better to add a little, let it simmer, then taste to see if it needs any more!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

im 1000% italian!.--a sauce for lasagna is easy!.--buy 2 cans the 28 oz size!.--look at the label carefully--no oregano!!!--oregano is for pizza sauce unless of course u have no clue!.--1 can crushed one can whole tomatoes!.--listen need to read labels i use muir glenn--no fire roasted so u need to be careful what u have or can get!.--ok assuming you can get the proper canned sauce!.--this is simple!.--little white wine-olive oil-salt to taste-small amt red pepper flakes-and the 2 cans simmer for about 1 hour!.--that's it fast simple and good trust me!.--now if u wanted a meat sauce then that gets a bit harder!.--but if you buy a few sausages, boil them first then add to that same sauce--u will be loved!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try a bit of crumbled cracker - that is the fastest way!.

I do that to hamburger and tomato sauce to make quick tacos - the cracker crumbs can make if very thick!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you have tomato paste that will help!. Otherwise just put it it a saucepan with extra onions and garlic and cook it down to a more usable consistency!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

slowly add:

dry basil
dry oregano
pepper
garlic - i prefer fresh
salt if needed (taste first)
dry fennel
dry onion

cook on low, the heat will thicken the sauce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

crumbs would definitely work also remember, just cause it tastes bad now doesn't mean that it wont be great mixed with every thing else!.!. just use a little extra, if you can and Im sure it will be great!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
