How to fix 10 lbs of over-whipped mashed potatoes?!

Question: How to fix 10 lbs of over-whipped mashed potatoes!?
they look like glue!!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Spread them out on sheet pans and put them in a real low oven to dry out a bit!. If you have any non-fat dry milk, stir a bit of that in once they're a little drier!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i did that once!.!.!.

"Unfortunately there is no fix for overworked, gummy mashed potatoes, but don't throw them away!!! Cool them down, add some minced onion, a couple of egg yolks and some seasoning, form into patties, pan fry and you have some wonderful Potato cakes"

hope that helps!.!.!. :|Www@FoodAQ@Com

10 lbs!

I think I'd not waste more good potatoes by adding these bad ones!. I'd save them and use them for thickening agent in soups or stews, and save a few for potato pancakes! You could probably fold them into ground beef (instead of breading) with onions for meatloaf!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Grab 10 more pounds of potatoes, peel them, cook them, remash them, make sure you use a lot of butter and milk and salt and pepper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ughh!.!.I just threw 'em out last time I did that!. Good question though!.!.I hope you get some good answers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
