Question: 1Kg Roast Beef - To all you kind gals!?
I want to cook for my gal, which will supprise her to no end :) But as like manymen out there, am not that talented in the kitchen dept lol "less of the giggles gals" I need instructions on how to cook a roast beef joint, so i'm not poisioning my beloved ;) also,what is the best way/how long for roast potatoes lol Plz advice, or even better email me with foolproof instructions lol Many Thanks in advance from a man that only wants to keep his gal smiling & i always have told her to expect the unexpected from me!. That's about a 2 lb!. roast!. I don't know if it's boneless or what because I'm Canadian and we don't use the same terminology!. However, just put it in a roast pan, sprinkle with pepper and garlic!. You can cut slits in it and insert bits of garlic right into the roast or you can just use powder!. Roast it at 325 for about an hour!. Do not cover!. Baste every 15 min!.!. Since roast potatoes have to be done in the oven as well at a different temp!. (450 for an hour) it's best to maybe do mashed potatoes, otherwise you have to keep either the roast warm or the potatoes warm while you cook the other!. Toss a salad, get a bottle of wine and you're all set!. She will love it no matter what!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well here is a question real quick for you!?

Are you making a pot roast style (that is cooked all th way thru and is fall apart tender), or do you want a roast beef style that is cooked to say medium!?

To do a pot roast style sprinle with steak seasoning and worcestershire sauce, then season with seasoned salt, pepper, granulated garlic, celery salt, and onion powder!. Let that sit for at least an hour, place in a rasoting pan and put a dark beer around the beef!. Cook it at 250 for about 3-4 hours or so unti lit is fall off the bone tender!. You can aslo add a couple slices of onion and celery on top of the roast!. Braise from time to time!.

To do a roast beef to a certain temp, season with the same as before but cook with out the beer, still on a low heat until it is the desired temp!.


For the roast potatoes peel some white potatoes (russets), a few red potatoes, and even 1 peeled sweet potato!. Toss with olive oil, italian seasoning salt and pepper!. roast at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
