Mexican dinner sides?!


Question: Mexican dinner sides!?
ok, so for my christmas party for work i have to come up with something to go good with mexican food

can you give me some GOOD ideas, not the typical enchiladas, casseroles, rice!.!.!.i know all that!.!.!.i want something UNIQUE that doesn't take alot of time

i was thinking about a pudding that my aunt makes!.!.!.it has pistachio pudding mix, cool whip, cottage cheese, mandarin oranges, pinapple, and marshmellows!.!.!.it is REALLY good and if you think that would sound good let me know too

Atole!.!.if you are looking for something dessert like, it is cheap to make, Delicious and fast and you can make a lot
All you need is masa flour, mexican hot cho mix, ex Abuelita's!.!.water milk, sugar and cinnamon
It is a drink like hot cocoa

for on desert, thin albondigas, it is a fast and Delicious soup that is inexpensive and a nice treat

I'm just trying to think what they have for dessert in the mexican place we go!.!.!.!. I think key lime pie, cheesecake, and fried ice cream!. I wouldn't go with ambrosia (that's what that recipe is), it's not going to mix very well with beans and spicy taco meat!. Do something light!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
