Question: Lasagna, what should be the internal temperature when done!?
when baking Lasagna, whats the correct internal temperature when done using a meat thermometer!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
the internal Temperature of Lasagna should reach at least 160 degrees Fahrenheit!. That's all I know from my teacher!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Most people make lasagna out of pre cooked ingredients except for the pasta, which is usually partially cooked!. When the pasta is done and the cheese is the right consistency and looks right, it's done!.

On a meat thermometer, that would probably be 150-160, but watch that it doesn't burn!. To kill bacteria, the standard is 165!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Let me get this straight!.!. the MEAT in the sauce is COOKED!.!.!. right!.!? Pasta can be eaten raw!.!.!. right!? Lasagna is done when the CHEESES have all melted and that takes about an hour in a 350 deg!. F!. oven

The other answers are right!.!.!. if you cook anything to 165 deg F!. then IT'S COOKEDWww@FoodAQ@Com

Everything is already cooked, all you are doing is raising the temperature to melt the cheese!. Don't worry about the internal temp!., it doesn't play into lasagne!. Just bake it for 30 min!. at 350!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
