Make a bowl of fresh tomato soup, mmm so comforting!.

Preparation:
In a saucepan, sauté onion, celery and carrots in butter until softened but not browned!. Add tomatoes and a small amount of chicken broth!. Simmer for 15 minutes!. In a Dutch oven or stock pot, combine sautéed vegetables, remaining chicken broth and rice!. Season with salt, thyme and pepper!. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes!. Serve garnished with parsley!. You shopped with your eyes!
The cherry tomatoes are best whole in salads, or cut them in half!.
The vine tomatoes can be sliced in sandwiches with lettuce & mayo!.
Or you can chop them in pieces & fry to stuff an omelette!.
Sliced on top of a macaroni & cheese casserole is attractive!.
Or diced with hjot or sweet peppers to make a salsa!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would recommend using a sharp needle or skewer to pierce a hole through the centre of the whole tomatoes!. Then, thread a 75 cm piece of string or cord through all the tomatoes and tie the ends together!. And voila, you have a unique tomato necklace that is sure to be a great conversation starter!.
