Don't rely on commercial companies to tell you what's delicious!. Make your own food!. Prego is for tools!.

Homemade pasta sauce is easy and delicious to make!.

Fry a medium onion, diced, in 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil!.

Add to that: 1 or 2 cans of diced tomatoes, 1 can of tomato paste (it should be much smaller a can than the diced tomatoes), a couple of bay leaves, some minced garlic or garlic powder, and some italian seasoning (maybe a teaspoon)!. Optionally: add some red wine for more depth of flavour, and add red pepper flakes for some heat!. I also like adding some minced mushroom!. You won't be able to tell there's mushroom in it, but it just tastes deeper!.

Let that simmer for 1 hour on low heat, stirring every 10 minutes!. You will have lots of sauce!. While still very hot, spoon the extras into canning jars and seal them and let them cool!. They'll last at least a month!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is REALLY REALLY delicious, and also very easy to make;

5 teaspoons olive oil
4 shallots, diced
1 large onion, cut into thin strips
1 pound bacon, cut into strips
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 (16 ounce) package fettuccini pasta
3 egg yolks
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Heat olive oil in a large heavy saucepan over medium heat!. Saute shallots until softened!. Stir in onion and bacon, and cook until bacon is evenly browned!. Stir in garlic when bacon is about half done!. Remove from heat!.
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil!. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente!. Drain pasta, then return it to the pot!.
In a medium bowl, whisk together egg yolks, cream, and shredded Parmesan!. Pour the bacon mixture over the pasta, then stir in the cream mixture!. Season with salt and pepper!.
Serves 6!.

This is also a VERY good tomato-cream sauce recipe; (But I prefer the first one better! :P)

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (14!.5 ounce) can Italian-style diced tomatoes, undrained
1 tablespoon dried basil leaves
3/4 teaspoon white sugar
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon butter

In a saucepan, saute onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat!. Make sure it doesn't burn!. Add tomatoes, basil, sugar, oregano, salt and pepper!. Bring to boil and continue to boil 5 minutes or until most of the liquid evaporates!. Remove from heat; stir in whipping cream and butter!. Reduce heat and simmer 5 more minutes!. Serves 5!.

ground black pepper
Directions

2Use in any recipe calling for spaghetti type sauce!. If not using immediately the sauce can be heated to cook in the flavors of seasonings!. Heat in a sauce pan medium-low allow just to bubble!. Cool and storeWww@FoodAQ@Com

What I like to do is take a regular jar of spaghetti sauce and add to it!. I like to add chopped spinach or bok choy (weird, I know, but it really works!.!.!.just don't use the white stalks), sliced button mushrooms (preferably brown), tomatoes (fresh or canned), parmesan cheese, and a bit of whipping cream!. I also add crushed garlic, and I will also add a bit of sugar if the sauce is too sour!. These add-ins really dress up the spaghetti and the flavour is outstanding!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Have you ever tried a Fettuccine Alfredo!?!? its very easy,
1 1/2 cupes cream or half and half
1 stick of butter
1 cup of Parmesan cheese!.

Heat the cream until it gets thicker than before, be careful not to use to high of heat so that it boils over, then, melt the butter stir till its completely mixed with the cream, finally when both are combined add cheese and stir!. You CANNOT stop stirring this, it will burn so mix the entire time, then let sit and mix in with the noodles
Good Luck :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Prego!. It's the best ever!!!
