My pressure cooker started leaking a little water out of the vent regulator...is it broken?!

Question: My pressure cooker started leaking a little water out of the vent regulator!.!.!.is it broken!?
My pressure cooker is brand new!. I've used it about 5 times!. This time I made vegetable stock!. About 25 minutes into cooking at pressure, a bit of water started coming out of the vent regulator part!. Just enough to freak me out and shut the heat off!. My pressure cooker has a little tab thing that goes up when at pressure!. Plus it has a black emergency vent gasket!. Plus it has the vent regulator you can turn for quick release!. Did I do anything wrong!? Thanks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I would think it's just steam that escaped and condensed back down to water, and then trickled out!. Either that or it kind of boiled up to the point where water reached the vent valve and it leaked out!. I wouldn't worry about it!. But, you might want to check the height of the liquid in the pot so it doesn't reach the top of the pot and boil over!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it let's steam out if the pressure builds up above the pressure of your weight

PS don't put it in the dish washer it will ruin the rubber gasketsWww@FoodAQ@Com

thats working perfectly, its SUPPOSED to do all that!Www@FoodAQ@Com
