Hummus with pita chips on a platter, with grapes and sliced apples along with a nice block of cheddar cheese is wonderful!. You could also add tray of veggies with a ranch dip!. Spinach artichoke dip in a bread bowl or served with crostini's is also lovely!. Additionally I like to serve fresh sliced tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella!. Arrange these items on a variety of large serving platters!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I have had some experience in this department!. I've had a lot and been to a lot of parties!. I have recently given these out and ppl enjoyed them!. They're really easy, but it looks like you put a lot of work into it!.
Sausage stars:
HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH SAUSAGE STARS
2 c!. (1 lb!.) cooked crumbled sausage
1 1/2 c!. grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c!. grated Monterey Jack cheese
1 c!. prepared Hidden Valley Ranch original salad dressing mix
1 can (2!.25 oz!.) sliced ripe olives
1/2 c!. chopped red pepper
1 pkg!. fresh or frozen won ton wrappers
Vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees!. Blot sausage dry with paper towels, combine with cheeses, salad dressing, olives and red pepper!. Lightly grease a mini or regular muffin tin and press 1 wrapper in each cup!. Brush with oil!. Bake 5 minutes until golden!. Remove from tins, place on baking sheet!. Fill with sausage mixture!. Bake 5 minutes until bubbly!. Makes 4-5 dozen!.
I would also say pigs in blankets, but instead of using Crescent rolls, use puff pastry!. A little classier, but again, looks like you put more time in!.
Good luck!. Have fun! Happy Holidays!
