Yorkshire pudding mix?!
Can anyone help,
I can make Yorkshire pudding,,,well i think im doing it right,
but its not coming up as much as id like!.
(this is what i put in)
4 table spoons of flour
2 eggs
pinch of salt
and some milk!.
Can anybody help with a better receipe

Granny Rose’ Yorkshire Pudding Recipe -
with Eggs, Plain Flour, Milk, Cold Water & Lard
Ingredients
2 Eggs
4 oz (125g) Plain Flour
1/4 Pint (150ml) Milk
1/4 Pint (150ml) Cold Water
Salt & Pepper
2 tbsp Lard or Dripping or Cooking Oil*
Directions
Pre-Heat the Oven to 425F (220C, Mark 7)!. Crack open the Eggs into a cup and mix well!. Add the Milk and Water together in a jug!. Sieve the Flour into a large bowl and season with a sprinkling of Salt & Pepper!. Pour the Eggs into this and stir together well with a fork!. Gradually pour in the Milk and Water and stir until you have a stiff batter!. Beat or whisk well until you have no lumps **!. Allow to rest for half an hour!.
Slip the Lard or Dripping into a deep sided baking tin and place just this in the oven!. Allow to heat up until visible smoking!. Quickly, but carefully, take out and rest on the top of the oven!. Pour in the Batter mixture!. Place back into the oven and bake for around half an hour until the batter is puffed up, golden brown and crispy!.
Serve immediately

wow i have the besst recipe from my grandmother!!
honestly, im 17 and make them all the time for my parents because they cant seem to make them as good as me, and they always turn out soo big, and so goood!!

what i do is mix the eggs together really well, and add the milk slowly to the eggs, and mix it really well!. and once all thats mixed together, add the flour in a little bit at a time, and make sure its mixed well before you add the next little bit!
put it on 450 in the oven for like 10-15 minutes(ithink) my rents usually cook em so im not to sure, but just until they look done!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try lightening the mix by using half water half milk!. Make sure the fat is smoking when you pour the batter into the tray and get it back in the oven ASAP!. An electric fan oven is best too, the dry convection heat makes the puds rise more than wet gas heat!.

its not the ingreediants you have to make sure that the fat in the tin is smoking before you put the batter in!. when you put the puddins in never ever EVER open the door to the oven - this is why they dont riseWww@FoodAQ@Com
Did you beat the mixture so it had lots of bubbles then let it rest for 10 minutes , your oven has to be hot and the pan/s you put it in has to have been heated as well with hot fat/oil Www@FoodAQ@Com
