How often should I turn my steaks when cooking them?!

Question: How often should I turn my steaks when cooking them!?
Answers:
Resist the urge to turn your steaks over repeatedly, as this deprives them of the chance to properly sear!. You should only turn your steaks once during the cooking process!.

One time only!. Turning frequently causes the juices to escape so the meat becomes drier and loses much of its' flavour!. A one-inch thick steak should be cooked over high heat (in a oiled fry pan) for about 4 mins, the first side and a bit less on the second!. It should have a crust on each side and, after cooking, be left to rest for 5 minutes before serving so the juices will have a chance to go back into the cells of the meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should only turn over your steak once!.
So make sure you don't turn over to soon, to seal in juices and flavor!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You should probably leave them for about 1-5 minutes, and only turn once!. It really matters how thick your steak is!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
