How come it didn't turn out soupy?!
I cooked Lipton chicken soup in the microwave yesterday and added the water like I was supposed to but after it was cooked it wasn't soupy it was more creamy!. It was still good and I am going to make it that way today but I was just wondering why it wasn't soupy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It perfectly ok to microwave it!.!. you just need to let it set for 2 minutes coming out of a microwave before eating it!.!.
It is soupy cuz the noodles cook faster!.!. making the soup part creamy!.!. rather than soupy!.!.

You are too funny :) I don't know, maybe your microwave is a little more powerful and the water evaporated!?!? Who cares because you liked it and are making it again!. I like mine with less water anyway because I'm a saltaholic and its saltier with less water!. Enjoy! Yahoo!Www@FoodAQ@Com
The noodles release more starch in the microwave than if you cook on the stove!. That is one reason I never cook pasta in the microwave but it would be okay for soup!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
