Gingerbread house walls are too soft.?!


Question: Gingerbread house walls are too soft!.!?
I have made a nice gingerbread for my gingerbread house!. It is great and firm and has enough crisp but when I remove it from my air tight container it becomes soft within a day so I am unable to decorate it!. Can anyone help me!? Why is it not staying a nice firm biscuit like the one's in shops!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't put it in the fridge and DON'T, lol, put it in an airtight container!.!.!.you trap all the moisture inside and it gets into the gingerbread!. Leave it out on a plate, etc!. covered with a towel!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because gram crackers get soft when left out!. The ones in shops are most likely treated with a perverse to keep them nice and firm!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

the recipe you used was too moist!. many people use graham crackers instead of gingerbread!.!.!.they work *very* well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
