Does anyone know what this dish tastes like?!

Question: Does anyone know what this dish tastes like!?
I want to make Spaghetti Carbanara but the eggs that you add to it at the end sound a bit off to me!. Does it taste like scrambled eggs mixed into pasta and bacon or does the bacon, onion, garlic and green pepper make change the consistency!? I am not a fan of eggs at all and just want to know if it's eggy tasting or looking before I take the time to make it!. I cook for 9 people so if it turns out to be something gross tasting, that's a lot of food wasted!. also, do you have to put the green peppers in or will it alter the taste too much!? Thanks for any help!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Spaghetti Carbonara is only
bacon, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and eggs!. Add a cup of the water you are boiling the pasta in (before draining), then add the drained pasta back into the frying pan for the authentic way!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Carbonara does not taste "eggy" but it is a dish where there isn't too much room for error!. Personally, I would not make a dish for 9 that I had not tested a couple times before, making it for myself or 2 or 3 others, not 9!.

Regardless, mix your cream with your whipped eggs and it should turn out fine, again -- not eggy!. Its really good for those that like it!.
Make sure it is served quickly after the egg/cream mixture is combined with the rest of the sauce!. Make sure your eggs and cream are not cold, let them come to room temp before adding them to the hot pasta!.

W/regards to green pepper, I've never had it with green pepper before!. So, yes you can leave out the green pepper if you want!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are cooking for 9 people why not do a recipe that you know tastes great because you have cooked it before!. Later make a small batch of that carbanara to see if you like it!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

it just changes the consistency!. it won't taste "eggy'!. don't add onion or peppers!. Just Parmesan cheese, bacon, eggs, salt and pepper, butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Its very good and the eggs really just become part of the sauce, if done correctly!. Don't worry, the heat of the pasta will cook themWww@FoodAQ@Com
