Might taste alright but you could end up in the hospital!!!
Undercooked kidney beans are very dangerous so you want to make sure they are cooked / well soaked overnight before just throwing them in the crock pot!. Just 4 or 5 undercooked ones per person can induce vomiting!.
See this from the FDA: "The syndrome is usually caused by the ingestion of raw, soaked kidney beans, either alone or in salads or casseroles!. As few as four or five raw beans can trigger symptoms!. Several outbreaks have been associated with "slow cookers" or crock pots, or in casseroles which had not reached a high enough internal temperature to destroy the glycoprotein lectin!. It has been shown that heating to 80°C may potentiate the toxicity five-fold, so that these beans are more toxic than if eaten raw!. In studies of casseroles cooked in slow cookers, internal temperatures often did not exceed 75°C!."
I am a fairly experienced cook but I can never seem to get bean soaking right so I just get canned!. Still pretty cheap and I don't have to worry!

yeah, but your going to need some other things, onion, garlic, pepper, carrots, tomatos, seasonings and herbs
I would take some oil get it hot in a saute pan!. Sear the outside of the ribs then add some water to the pan to release all the goodness on the bottom of the pan!. Then I would add that to the crockpot with the rest of the available ingredients!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pre soak those beans and season the ribs up!. You'll do fine!.
A good substitution for the beans is sauerkraut fixed up with chopped green apples, brown sugar, a touch of vinegar, and Caraway seeds!.
Boil up the beans on the side!. Enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

hmm, does not sound very good to me!. I would just cook the pork ribs and then add seasoning, and then BBQ sauce!. Let simmer on low!. But cooked together!. Um, yeah, no!. I would do a nice pasta salad, or green salad!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
