General question about food?!
There is a girl where i work who's last day is next friday and the day before we are having a farewell brunch for her!. They asked everyone to bring a fingerfood!. Could anyone please give me some ideas for what i could bring!? If you could give me the recipe too that would be great!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bacon Wrapped Bread Sticks
Ingredients:
* 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
* 2 teaspoon garlic salt or powder
* 12 slices bacon
* 1 24-4 1/2 inch long sesame breadsticks, package
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees!.
In a mixing bowl, combine the parmesan cheese with garlic salt and set aside!. Cut the bacon slices in half so they are approximately 5-inches long!. Wrap each bread stick with one slice of bacon, starting at one end and ending at the other!. Place wrapped bread sticks on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake for 15 minutes or until bacon is browned!. Remove from oven and immediately roll bread sticks in cheese mixture!. Let cool and serve at room temperature!.
Yield: 2 dozen
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes

* 1/4 cup water
* 1 1/2 cups Italian seasoned bread crumbs
* 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
* 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
* 1/3 cup cornstarch
* 1 quart oil for deep frying
* 1 (16 ounce) package mozzarella cheese sticks
1!. In a small bowl, mix the eggs and water!.
2!. Mix the bread crumbs and garlic salt in a medium bowl!. In a medium bowl, blend the flour and cornstarch!.
3!. In a large heavy saucepan, heat the oil to 365 degrees F (185 degrees C)!.
4!. One at a time, coat each mozzarella stick in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, then in the bread crumbs and finally into the oil!. Fry until golden brown, about 30 seconds!. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels!.
Calamari:
* 3 cups vegetable oil
* 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon dried oregano
* 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 12 squid, cleaned and sliced into rings
* 1 lemon - cut into wedges, for garnish
1!. Preheat oil in a heavy, deep frying pan or pot!. Oil should be heated to 365 degrees F (180 degrees C)!.
2!. In a medium size mixing bowl mix together flour, salt, oregano and black pepper!. Dredge squid through flour and spice mixture!.
3!. Place squid in oil for 2 to 3 minutes or until light brown!. Beware of overcooking, squid will be tough if overcooked!. Dry squid on paper towels!. Serve with wedges of lemon!.
Double Tomato Bruschetta:
* 6 roma (plum) tomatoes, chopped
* 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, packed in oil
* 3 cloves minced garlic
* 1/4 cup olive oil
* 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
* 1/4 cup fresh basil, stems removed
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1 French baguette
* 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1!. Preheat the oven on broiler setting!.
2!. In a large bowl, combine the roma tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, basil, salt, and pepper!. Allow the mixture to sit for 10 minutes!.
3!. Cut the baguette into 3/4-inch slices!. On a baking sheet, arrange the baguette slices in a single layer!. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes, until slightly brown!.
4!. Divide the tomato mixture evenly over the baguette slices!. Top the slices with mozzarella cheese!.
5!. Broil for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted!.

when the water comes to a boil put on a lid and cut off the heat and let sit for 20 minutes!.
then peel them, slice them
take out the yolks
mash the yolks with
mayo
pickle relish
creamed horseradish (this is the secret) not too much, just a little
tiny bit of salt and pepper
return to the egg the mixture
sprinkle with a little paprika
and you are done
