How do you make pancakes from scratch?!


Question: How do you make pancakes from scratch!?
I want some yummy pancakes!

* 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 tablespoon white sugar
* 1 1/4 cups milk
* 1 egg
* 3 tablespoons butter, melted
1!. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar!. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth!.
2!. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat!. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake!. Brown on both sides and serve hot!.

in a large bowl sieve 12 ounces of plain flour add milk to make a thick paste mix well to remove lumps if any add eggs 1 at a time mix well after each egg mixture will thin out as u add eggs 3 is all u need if needed add more milk till mixture runs smoothly from spoon slightly thinner than custard is ideal !. add a pinch off salt!.heat a little lard NOT OIL in a medium frying pan just enough to coat the pan heat till it smokes slightly using a teacup pour just enough mix into pan to cover the bottom pour in middle of pan then tilt pan to spread mix and cover all of pan when pancake is cooked enough to slide to and fro in pan use a spatula to turn it over !.pancake should be solid on top before doing this let it cook a minuete or two till it slides around pan slide onto plate add sugar lemon juice roll up eat with knife and fork enjoy top Www@FoodAQ@Com
