How to make a roast chicken evenly brown?!

also liquid smoke adds a nice brown affect to your meats and a smokey flavor, also Butter will brown a chicken or turkey very nicely!. I don't eat the skin ,so to me it is all for looks there is more fat and calories in the skin than if you ate the whole bird!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Heat rises so the top will always get browner unless you use a rotisserie!. A vertical roaster also does a pretty good job of browning the whole thing, but not as well as a rotisserie!. Or you can just turn the chicken over halfway through cooking, but that's the least effective of the three methods!. Nothing can beat the constant turning of a rotisserie either on a BBQ or in an oven!.
Be sure that it's not sitting in its juices either or the part that's wet won't brown!. Put it on a rack or a bed of veggies or something!.

rotisserie works very well, along with basting!. Try basting with a Thai sauce for browning!. Sweet Chili Sauce for Chicken!. It turns out like a chicken ala'Orange!. It's cheap, less than $3!.00 per quart, and one quart will baste 3-4 chickens, or 2 small turkeys!.
You needn't rotisserie the turkey or chicken, you can roast in the oven with a foil covering until the last 30 -45 minutes!. be sure to baste often every 10 minutes after removing the foil!.

you should cook the turkey in tinfoil until the last half an hour!. Then take the foil off and baste the turkey with the juices in the tray!. Keep basting it every 10 mins or so and it should turn a golden brown!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
