How to make tomatoe sauce less tangy?!
im making tomato sauce (for pasta) i usually don't use canned tomato pureebut im out of homemade!. i just tasted the sauce and its very tangy how can i get the tang out!. i added more salt and pepper but its still tangyWww@FoodAQ@Com

Add 1 teaspoon of white sugar!. It will reduce the acid in the tomatoes!.

Add some baking soda!. It counteracts the tangy acidity of the tomato sauce!. You'll even see it fizz when you add it!. Start with just a little, then taste and adjust!. You can add just a touch of sugar as well, but don't make it too sweet!.

Add tomato paste!. Just a little bit, diluted first & mixed in well!. It should mellow it out just enough to suit your taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

USE SOME GARLIC some onion powder and add a pinch of italian seasoning it makes very good sause my family and children love it!.!.!.!.
