I would like to find the recipe for sour kraut balls that has ground "spam" in the recipe. ?!
I have had many different kind of sour kraut balls but this recipe was the absolute best!. I lost the recipe in our move and my husband is really upset that this Christmas I cannot make his favorite sour kraut balls!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

SAUERKRAUT BALLS
1 can luncheon meat (Spam, or other)
6 tbsp!. flour
1 med!. onion, chopped fine
1/2 c!. boiling water
4 tbsp!. butter
1 lg!. can sauerkraut
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 eggs
2 tbsp!. milk
2 c!. bread crumbs
1 c!. (about) flour (to roll balls in)
Brown onions in butter!. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water!. Add flour to onions!. Add bouillon cubes to onions; set aside and let completely cool!. Drain sauerkraut well; grind sauerkraut and meat together!. Add to onion mixture and stir well!. Form into balls!.
Beat eggs with milk!. Roll balls in flour, then dip in milk, egg mixture, then roll in bread crumbs and deep fry in hot oil!. May freeze and reheat in oven at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
