I have a whole chicken and an oven. What is your favorite way to bake a chicken?!

Ingredients:
1 roasting chicken, about 4 to 5 pounds
1/2 lemon
salt and pepper to taste
1 small onion, quartered
Fresh herbs: 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary and 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
2 sprigs fresh parsley
1/4 cup melted butter
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350°!.
Rub inside of chicken with lemon half; sprinkle with salt and pepper!. Add the onion quarters, dried herbs, and parsley to chicken cavity!. Place chicken in a shallow roasting pan and roast at 350° for about 20 minutes per pound!. BAste with melted butter several times!. Internal temperature should register about 175° on a meat thermometer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Beer can chicken!!
Open a can of your fav brew & pour about 1/3 of the can out ( or drink it - lol) Place been can up the chicken's butt & balance in a baking dish!. Use whatever seasonings you like - I just mix mine into the beer can & then bake til done!. Yummy!

It is a beer chicken, and it is absolutely amazing!.
The beer makes it totally tender and juicy, without an alcoholic taste!.
For an alternative to beer, you can also use ginger ale!.

roasted for one and a half to two hours on about 350 degrees F!. seasoned with butter, salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, rosemary, basil, garlic, and a little bit of onion and tarragon, basted every fifteen to thirty minutes!. yummmmmmWww@FoodAQ@Com
Beer can chicken! Poke some holes in a beer can, and pour half of it out!. Place it in the cavity of the chicken, and stand the chicken up in the oven!. bake until it is at the proper temp!. Delicious!Www@FoodAQ@Com
I like to skin the whole chicken and rub it down with olive oil and then put garlic powder, salt and pepper and let it bake covered until it is done!.

A chicken marinated overnight and then wrapped in aluminum foil with sliced carrots, leeks, baby potatoes at the bottom of the chicken!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I roast mine I squeeze orange juice over the top then place the rinds in the cavity!. bake till 170 when you check for doneness and let sit for 15 20 min!. it will be finished cooking then!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
