1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp baking soda

Beat butter or margarine with elec mixer for 30 seconds!. Add about 1/2 of the flour, the 1 cup of sugar, egg, vanilla, baking soda and cream of tartar!. Beat till thoroughly combined!. Beat in remaining flour!. Cover and chill for 1 hour!.
Combine the 2Tbs sugar and cinnamon!. Shape into 1" balls and roll in cin/sugar mixture!. Place 2 " apart on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes!. makes 4 dozen!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
