Can tomato paste substitute for pizza sauce in a pizza?!
I am making a pizza and i saw that i dont have any pizza sauce but i have tomato paste!. Can i use tomato paste instead of pizza sauce or are they totally different!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, it just needs some water & spices!.
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 1/2 cups water
1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
1/2 tablespoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
DIRECTIONS
Mix together the tomato paste, water, and olive oil!. Mix well!. Add garlic, salt and pepper to taste, oregano, basil, and rosemary!. Mix well and let stand several hours to let flavors blend!. No cooking necessary, just spread on dough!.

they are totally different!. the paste is a lot thicker than pizza sauce!. what i would do is!.!.!.add a little water, or you could add bar-b-que sauce (if you like that) or some other kind of sauce !.!.!.if you like sweet sauce add like juice to it, but don't over do itWww@FoodAQ@Com
