The rest I really do not know because I haven't tried it!.

Mom and Dad make the best steaks around and they marinate their meat in Italian salad dressing believe it or not!. Tastes great :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

The best is papain, found in Adolphs meat tenderizer
Next I would say papaya juice, then kiwi, then wine
I would not use lemon or pepper, you would need to use too much and it would overpower the taste of the meat!.
The other option is simply to cook for a long time in a crock pot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Wine, especially a Cab or Mild Merlot, they seem to have the ability to absorb quickly and tenderize the meat beautifully!. I have a delicious stuffed flank steak recipe if you would like, Let me Know (Just had it, and it was incredible)Www@FoodAQ@Com
