Is this pizza fine for entertaining guests when I tell them that I'm making an Italian style one?!

Question: Is this pizza fine for entertaining guests when I tell them that I'm making an Italian style one!?
Boboli crust
Ragu with parmesan/romano added!. (no meat)
Arugula
Mozzarella
Cappicola
Prosciutto
American bacon (large bits) [this choice is because of the preference of the guests, they preferred Italian style with regular bacon]
Tomato (diced)
Artichoke hearts
Fontina (medium)
Garlic (minced)
Oregano (lightly sprinkled)

One of my guests is allergic to onions and hates sun-dried tomato!. Any suggestions for what I have above!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

if you say you're making a pizza (sorry, I just glanced over the list again and said, argula!?!?!?!?!?!?)) then I'd go with olive oil instead of the ragu!.

It seems a little top heavy!.

I'd just strip it to the oil, cheeses and herbs!. (btw, I hate sun dried tomatoes too)Www@FoodAQ@Com

sounds good to me, it's all a matter of taste!.

personally I would lose the ragu, the artichoke hearts!.
Use a nice fresh mozzarella (in liquid if available)!.

I prefer spinach, but arugula could work as well!.!.!.!.never tried it!.

The tomatoes I would do thinly sliced instead of diced!.

And like said above, brush the crust with olive oil!.

you could try a light pesto on the crust if you like!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

get rid of the bacon, make own sauce, get actual pizza doe, use a few more spices, don't use artichoke hearts, less toppings, maybe add liquor if you want (to the sauce)!. remember less toppings are betterWww@FoodAQ@Com

sounds delicious!. Pair it with some caprese salad or caesar salad and some white wine!. Make it fancy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Use olive oil!. Do without the tomatoes!. Other than that when do we need to be there!. LOL Sounds good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ew that
sounds grossWww@FoodAQ@Com

With all those good ingredients, you are using a boboli crust!?! Make a homemade one!. It's easy as pie (easier, actually) and tastes much better!

I'd save the arugula for a side salad, personally, maybe with yoru cooked bacon and diced tomatoes!. A simple vinaigrette to dress it is plenty!.

PIZZA DOUGH

1 (1/4-oz) package instant dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
2 1/4 to 2 3/4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour plus additional for kneading and dredging
1 cup warm water (105 - 115°F)
1 teaspoon salt
2 Tbsp olive oil

Whisk together yeast, 1 tablespoon flour, and 1/4 cup warm water in a measuring cup and let stand until mixture develops a creamy foam, about 5 minutes!. (If mixture doesn't foam, discard and start over with new yeast!.)
Stir together salt and 1 1/2 cups flour in a large bowl!. Add yeast mixture and remaining 3/4 cup warm water and stir until smooth, then stir in another 1/2 cup flour!. If dough sticks to your fingers, stir in just enough flour (up to 3/4 cup), a little at a time, to make dough just come away from side of bowl!. (This dough may be wetter than other pizza doughs you have made!.)
Knead dough on a lightly floured surface with floured hands, lightly reflouring work surface and your hands when dough becomes too sticky, until dough is smooth, soft, and elastic, about 10 minutes!. Divide dough in half and form into 2 balls, then generously dust balls all over with flour, cover with bowls or dish towel and let rest 10 minutes!. Shape into pizzas, prebake 5-7 minutes at 400oF!.
Dough can be allowed to rise slowly, covered, in the refrigerator for 1 day!. Bring to room temperature before using!.

Makes 2 (10-inch) pizzas!.
