Caramel Toffee Dip & Apples

This rich creamy dip and apple duo tastes like caramel apples, making it a delightful delicious dessert!.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Chill Time: At least 2 hours

Yield: 16 servings

Ingredients

1 package (8 ounces) low-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel)
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon rum extract
3/4 cup English toffee bits (from a 10-ounce package)
4 apples, each cut into 12 wedges
1 cup orange juice

Directions
1!. In medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, brown sugar, powdered sugar and rum extract!. Beat on medium speed until smooth, about 1 minute, scraping bowl occasionally!. Stir in toffee bits!. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving!.
2!. Combine apple wedges and orange juice in large bowl; toss apples to coat with orange juice!. Drain apples!. Cover and refrigerate up to 8 hours!.
3!. When ready to serve, spoon dip into a serving bowl!. Place bowl in the center of a large serving plate!. Arrange apples wedges around the dip!.

Substitutions/Variations
Strawberries and grapes go great with this rich, creamy dip, too!.

Tips

1 can pie filling, any flavor -- cherry is good for Christmas though
1 can pineapple chunks
