Our economy this year sucks soo bad!. I can not afford to buy anyone gifts!. However, i dont want to show up completely empty handed!. Does anyone know a very cheap, good Desert or Dish this year!? Peanut Butter Honey Balls

1 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts

In a small bowl mix the milk powder, peanut butter, honey and graham cracker crumbs until blended!. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in chopped nuts; chill!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here's a couple quick & easy recipes

Key Lime Bars

1 package key lime cake mix
2 eggs
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter flavor shortening
1 lb!. mango tangerine frosting
Preheat oven to 375°F!. Combine all ingredients, except frosting, in a
bowl!. Stir until blended!. Transfer to a buttered 9x13 inch pan!. Bake
25-30 mins or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean!. Cool
in pan!. Spread frosting over top and cut into bars!. serves 12!.

Chocolate Covered Pretzels

2 or 3 squares of almond bark (white or dark)
1 bag of pretzels

Melt almond bark in pan!. Drench pretzels in the melted chocolate!. Put in fridge until chocolate is hard!. If you want to: put more melted chocolate in a plastic baggie and make a hole in one of the corners and drizzle over pretzels!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Christmas Dump Cake

* 1 (16 oz!.) can whole cranberry sauce
* 1 (21 oz!.) can apple pie filling
* 1 box yellow cake mix, 2-layer size
* 4 ounces butter
* 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Heat oven to 325 degrees!. Dump cranberries into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan!. Dump apple pie filling into pan!. Spread mixture evenly and spread dry cake mix on top!. Cut up butter and dot top of cake!. Sprinkle walnuts or pecans over the cake batter!. Bake at 325° for 65 to 75 minutes, or until a wooden pick or cake tester inserted in center comes out clean!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is a simple and cheap one, it's one of my favorites any time of year!.

Pistachio Pie

1 Keebler graham cracker crust
1 16 oz!. tub of Cool Whip
1 pkg!. pistachio pudding mix
1 can (about 15 oz!.) crushed pineapple

In a large bowl, dump in the pineapple and stir in the pudding mix!. Let it sit 10 minutes!. Then fold in the Cool Whip gently until mixed, pour into the crust and refrigerate for at least 4 hours!.

The best part is it's a festive green, and it's light and fluffy compared to heavier desserts!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
