Answers:
If it is royal icing it is dependant on how thick you have made the icing!.

I haven't done mine yet I've been a bit lazy this year!. Yours will be fine for Christmas day!. It normally takes a couple of days to really set properly!.

Whatever you do don't put the cake in a fridge, just store it in a cool place!. If you put it somewhere too cold when it comes out on Christmas day it will sweat and go sticky!. Same applies to somewhere too hot!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The longer you leave it, the harder it will become!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you don't say what sort of icing it is!. if its Royal it will take at least 2 hours or more to set!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

10 minuites to half an hour, wait tilll its comletely hard and dry ! DONT START AGAIN!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it hasn't set in an hour, it isn't going to!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Couple of hours should do it if you haven't made it too runny!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

at least 2 hours in the fridgeWww@FoodAQ@Com
