I made salsa an hour ago, will it get more spicy with time?!

Question: I made salsa an hour ago, will it get more spicy with time!?
There's about 2 litres, lots of onion, garlic, one jalapeno, and some generic cajun seasoning!. It's really mild now, but I don't want to add a pile of spice and jalapeno and make it too spicy- any ideas!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

If I would have made it I would have used more than one jalapeno for that quantity!. But I like hot salsa!. It will get more spicy while it sits but not that much!. You might add just a pinch of red pepper or chili powder!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It may get spicier with time but you can tame the spice by adding some tomatoes, lemon or lime juice and a little salt works well too!. I make salsa all the time and recently bought some chili's that I thought weren't hot but oh my goodness thy about ripped my mouth off!. I added more tomatoes and a little more salt, try adding some cilantro for filler and an extra explosion of taste!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For 2 litres Salsa, one jalapeno is not enough!.!.!.it's like using none at all!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

usually not, but the jalapenos might make it more spicyWww@FoodAQ@Com
