The bad thing about premixed stuffing or mixes and gravies is you are stuck with the seasonings they like to put in!.
If you are on a budget make your own dressing from old bread cut in cubes, butter, chopped onion, salt, pepper and the sage!.
When you make your own stuffing you can also taste it as you go and add more seasoning if you want to!.
Keep tasting it til you like it and it will taste even better once it is cooked!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Honestly stuffing isn't that hard to make!. I make some from a recipe from Barefoot Contessa!. I make the bread but you can buy it!.

But yes I'm sure you can add sage and maybe celery to Stove Top!. And it is salty like the other member said so if it calls for water I would use some low sodium chicken broth when cooking it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i make my own stuffing!.

i have used dried french bread and broke into pieces !.!.!.( or you can use croutons)

added can of chicken broth and all my favorite seasonings!.!.!.dab of butter ( margerine)

so ya you can do this too, just add your seasonings and sage!.!.touch of garlic and it should be goood :)

let it simmer till bread gets soft just like stuffing does!.

and thats it!.!.and it always turns out good!.

Yes, you can!. Add a bit of thyme, and maybe a few unseasoned bread cubes (white, wheat, or cornbread) b/c Stove Top is REALLY salty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
