Difference between granulated onion and minced onion?!


Question: Difference between granulated onion and minced onion!?
Recipe calls for 1 1/2 tbps of granulated onion, I accidentally bought minced onion!.!.!.!.!.!.!.should I go back to store and get the granulated onion powder!? Or is there any difference!?

This is for my seasoning rub on my prime rib!.

Normally I would say go back to the store, but since it is for a rub on a prime rib you can still use it!. Just increase it by 1/2 tbps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes there is a difference!. Granulated is finer than minced!. Minced onion looks like flakes and granulated is finely ground!. Go back to the store and get granulated --not minced or powder!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
