How often do you make food by baking/broiling, and does baking/broiling cost much in your gas/electric bill?!

Question: How often do you make food by baking/broiling, and does baking/broiling cost much in your gas/electric bill!?
I'm living in the US but I'm not so familiar with American food!. But I feel that American make food by baking and broiling very often!.
Since a lot of recipes require to bake/broil over 1 or 2 hours, that really consumes a lot of electric/gas!.
My questions are "how often do you use your oven!?" and "Does baking/broiling cost a lot of money in your gas/electric bill!?"
(I usually steam, boil, and stew food, and this costs only 10 dollars in my gas bill)!.
Thanks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I bake a lot but I use a combination convection/microwave oven so it is an energy efficient electronic appliance!.
I really don't have a high energy bill because I live in a one room studio apt and I use an oil radiator powered by electricity so my total bill is about 37 a month in winter and 20 a month in summer!.
Most gas/electric use is high wattage appliances like hair dryers, and furnaces in houses that leak air!. When you have drafts you have wasted heat; constantly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I can't remember how much, but I know there definitely is a difference when I do alot of cooking versus when I hardly cook at all!. I think the difference was about 15!.00 or so!. But once I start cooking, it's usually at least 2 meals a day on the oven!.

So, yes it does make a difference financially, depending on how much you use your oven!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I make all meats in the oven!. I steam most vegetables on top of the stove!. I have no idea what it costs, because we bought a 300-lb!. tank of LP gas 4 years ago, and it's still half full!. Only thing that runs off of it is my stove and oven!.

How often do I use my oven!? Whenever we run out of meat, which is about once or twice a month!. I make a lot of meat at one time, then freeze it in serving-size portions!. I don't believe in cooking for individual meals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
