Can you use cookie cutters with store bought, pre-made, slice and bake cookies?!

Question: Can you use cookie cutters with store bought, pre-made, slice and bake cookies!?
I have some cookie cutters that I would like to use but I don't have time to make cookies from scratch!. Can I use pre-made, "slice and bake" dough!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes -- I have done this with my grandsons!. Word of warning, the dough is very sticky when it gets warm enough to roll!. Instead of using flour to dust your rolling surface, powdered sugar or cornstarch works well!. The extra flour could make your cookies tough!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yep you sure can!.!.!.just roll it out like you would if you had made it yourself and it wont make a difference!. The "slice and bake" stuff is basically the same thing as what you would make at home it is just rolled up so you can make cookies in a flash!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, of course you can!. You just need to roll out the dough!. {Hmmm!.!.!. runs off to the store to get some!.!.!.!.roll, cut, bake, yum!}Www@FoodAQ@Com

You sure can!. Roll to the thickness recommended by the manufacturer (or to your preference) cut into shapes and bake as directed!. What a novel idea!

Merry Christmas!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can!.

I've never used cookie cutters for cookies, I always cut up the kids sandwiches with them, holiday like :)
