How do you get a cake out of an ungreased pan?!
were having a christmas party at my house and my mom forgot to grease the pan before she put the cake in, so does anybody know how to get the cake out!?!?!? thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Try using a sharp knife around the edges!. If it's stuck on the bottom that's more difficult and you may end up with some piececs missing but covering it in frosting can help hide some dents!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You can try warming it back up in the oven, then run a knife around the edges of the pan!. Allow it to cool and try again!. If not, you may be out of luck!. But, I do have a good recipe for cake balls so you can use up the cake instead of it going to waste:
Chocolate Cake Balls:
Cook a chocolate cake according to the box directions!.
While cake is still warm, crumble into tiny pieces!. (A food processor works great)
Mix (by hand) the cake crumbles with ?- ? of a container of butter cream or chocolate frosting (until the “batter” is mixed throughout without any dry cake particles, should be like a wet dough)
Roll the "batter" into 1 – 1? inch ballz
Refrigerated for about 3 hours (or freeze for at least 30 minutes)
Dip the ballz into melted milk chocolate
Drizzle with white chocolate (optional)
Refrigerate for an additional 30 minutes (optional)
Tips:
*Mix it up and try different cake/frosting combinations
*Use a toothpick to dip the ballz into chocolate!. When cooled, dip just the top in to cover the mark left by the toothpick!.
*Take double boiler off of heat when dipping!.
*Use chocolate used for candy making or bark chocolate (Don't use chocolate chips, they get "gummy" when balls are left out)
*After ballz have been chilled, they don't have to stay in the refrigeratorWww@FoodAQ@Com

You could try putting it back in the warm oven for a couple minutes, which may loosen it up a bit!. If it's completely cooled I'm afraid you may be stuck (no pun intended)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
