Cake stuck in pan......?!
we forgot to grease the pan before we put the cake in!. so does anyone know how to get it out!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
Get a spatula or plastic spoon and try to work your way around the edges and under the cake!. It'll pop out eventually!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Can you frost it in the pan and serve it from the pan!?!? Or do you have to remove it to make a layer cake!?!? You might try putting it in a preheated 375 oven for about 2 minutes, so that the pan gets hot, and you might have some luck!.!.!.!.!.Or you can go the other way, and freeze it in the pan and using a spatula, remove it when completely frozen, then let defrost and proceed with your recipe!.!.!.!.!.Good Luck, and Happy Holidays!.!.!.!.!.

You've gotten lots of good answers for getting the cake out, and I expect you now have big chunks of cake and are wondering what to do with them!. Make a trifle!.
Cook a recipe of (or use instant) pudding - any flavor that will compliment the cake flavor!. Cut the cake pieces into small cubes and put 1/3 of them into a large, pretty bowl or trifle dish!. Spoon over 1/3 of the pudding and then spread about a cup of Cool Whip or whipped cream on top of the pudding!. Continue layering cake cubes, pudding and cool whip until you have 3 layers of each!. Grate some chocolate over the top for garnish!. It's so pretty, and no one will know you goofed!.
You can also add in layers of fresh berries after each pudding layer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Run a knife around the edge of the pan to get that loose!. Cut the cake into square serving pieces!. Run a spatula under the pieces!. You might not get each piece out intact, especially on the edge, but most should come out ok!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Run a knife around the edges and then turn the pan over and slam the pan on the counter the cake should pop out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Loosen the sides with a spatula then with a plate underneath, flip the cake over and gently wiggle the pan!. It works!. Sometimes!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Take a butter knife and move it around the edge of the cake!. Then turn the pan upside down and tap the bottom!. The cake should come out!. If not use the butter knife again!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
If I were you I would put the cake in the refrigerator for an hour and when you take it out it won't stick!.
It helped me so I hope it helps you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
