Question: Lamb vindaloo left out over night, still safe to eat!?
Pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I figure I'd ask, mainly because it's a spicy dish and maybe it's preserved for longer!.!.!.!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am a former chef and Curry Nut and far be it from me to disagree with healthcare professional and all the others, but lamb does not conduct bacteria the same way, and with the sauce having a high chili content and made with either citrus or vinegar, overnight is not going to kill you, I eat mine super hot, it still boils when frozen, so do not fret, heat it good in a pot or zap it in the microwave for 5 minute and enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if the food reached a temper above 40 degrees, then NO!. Once it reaches that temp, bacterial growth explodes!. you could get very sick!. if you plan to eat it anyway (dangerous) at least, heat it to about 170 degrees for at least 15 seconds!. But your best bet is to throw it awayWww@FoodAQ@Com

I would eat it!. Heat it up really hot!.

In summer I would say no, but it's as cold in my kitchen as outside!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't think so!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no way!Www@FoodAQ@Com
