get fresh scallops, heavy cream, 3-4 leaks, whiskey!. Make some white rice on the side!.

Cook the scallops in salted butter, about 2-3 mins each side, remove them from the pan!. pour about 1/2 cup whiskey in the pan, scrapping the pan!. Add the heavy cream, salt and pepper to taste, let simmer until the sauce turns thick!.
While this goes on, cut the leaks lenghtwise, stem them!.

I like sauteed shrimp and scallops served over pasta!.

Put some olive oil and butter in a skillet and melt!. If your scallops are large, quarter them!. Saute shrimp first until they are just opaque, then the scallops for just a few minutes---don't overcook or they will be rubbery!.
Melt more butter and add minced garlic!. Be sure to salt and pepper well!. Toss with seafood and pour over cooked pasta!. Add chopped parsley to garnish!.

If you likea cream sauce, add cream and reduce by half --add some grated cheese!. Then pour over pasta!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
