Main Dish Recipe

Feelin’ Good Vegetable Soup
Ingredients:
? pound ground beef
1 can (about 14 oz) chicken or beef broth
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
? cup uncooked small shell pasta
1 teaspoon chili powder
? teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
1 ? cup frozen mixed vegetables

Directions:
1!. Brown beef in medium saucepan 6 to 8 minutes over medium-high heat, stirring to break up meat into dime-sized pieces!. Drain fat!.
2!. Stir in broth, tomato sauce, pasta, chili powder, basil, garlic powder and onion powder!. Bring to a boil!. Reduce heat; simmer, covered 7 minutes!.
3!. Stir in frozen vegetables!. Bring to a boil!. Simmer, covered, 7 minutes or until pasta and vegetables are tender!. Serve immediately!.

Makes 4 servings!.

A side dish recipe

Corn Casserole
Ingredients:
1 (15-1/4 oz) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (14-3/4 oz) can creamed corn
1 (8 oz) package corn muffin mix (recommended: Jiffy)
1 cup sour cream
? cup (1 stick) butter, melted
1 to 1-? cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
1!. Preheat oven to 350?F!.
2!. In a large bowl, combine the whole kernel corn, creamed corn, corn muffin mix, sour cream and the melted butter!.
3!. Pour into a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish!.
4!. Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown!.
5!. Remove from oven and top with cheddar cheese!. Return to oven for 5 to 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted!.
6!. Let stand for at least 5 minutes and serve warm!.

A super easy, fantastic dessert recipe

Toffee Bars
Ingredients:
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg yolk
2 scant cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 ? cups milk chocolate chips
? cup toasted chopped nuts, if desired

Directions:
1!. Heat oven to 350?F!. In a large bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, vanilla and egg yolk!. Stir in flour and salt!. Press mixture into an ungreased, foil lined 13x9 pan or baking sheet!.
2!. Bake bars 25-30 minutes or until very light brown (crust will be soft)!. Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on hot crust!. Let stand about 5 minutes or until chocolate is soft; spread evenly!. Sprinkle with nuts!.
3!. Cool bars 30 minutes in pan on wire rack!. For bars, cut into 8 rows by 4 rows!.

Hasty Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients:
? cup white sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoons cornstarch
Dash salt
2 cups whole milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 tablespoon butter

Directions:
1!. In a microwave safe bowl, whisk together sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt!. Slowly whisk in milk to avoid mixture getting dry lumps!.
2!. Microwave on high for 3 minutes!. Stir!. Microwave at 1 minute intervals, stirring between, for 3-5 minutes or until shiny and thick!. Stir in vanilla and butter!.
3!. Cover surface directly with saran wrap to prevent a skin from forming!. Refrigerate until cold!.


Variation: For vanilla pudding, omit cocoa
powder!. Any flavor can be made by omitting
cocoa powder and vanilla extract and

Philly Cheese Steak

1lb!. thin-sliced sirloin (skirt steak works too)
1 to 1!.5 large white onions
Montreal Steak seasoning (or other yummy seasoning)
Hoagie rolls (other bread works too)
Enough of your favorite cheese for 4 sandwiches(works best grated or melted)


1)Caramelize onion(s) in pan over med-high heat
2) cook steak in covered pan on med!. heat (seasoning liberally) until fully cooked (15min give or take depending on stove)
3)toast rolls
4)melt cheese (unless grated) and place on sandwich after adding meat!.

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken

"This actually uses my breading for Chicken Fried Steak---my husband suggested we try it with chicken breasts, and it was delicious!"





INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
2 teaspoons garlic powder, or to taste
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - pounded thin
1 cup oil for frying, or as needed




DIRECTIONS
In a shallow dish, mix together the garlic powder, pepper, salt, paprika, bread crumbs and flour!. In a separate dish, whisk together the milk and egg!.
Heat the oil in an electric skillet set to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!. Dip the chicken into the egg and milk, then dredge in the dry ingredients until evenly coated!.
Fry chicken in the hot oil for about 5 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear!. Remove from the oil with a slotted spatula, and serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Potato Jowdle

Small dice a spud & a similar sized onion,
put in frying-pan, with enough water to cover, a pinch of your fave herbs, & fry until cooked!.
There should be very little water left at the end

You may need to top the water before its cooked, so get a kettle hot!. with practise, you will get the amount of water & temperature right
