These are my favorite one dish meal salads they are all super healthy (if you stick to oil and vinegar dressing [I like Paul Newmans Tuscan Italian] or make my own)!. They are all variations of typical salads so if you google them you'll get other suggestions!.
*Nicoise Salad:lettuce, tuna fish, olives, capers, hard boiled egg, celery, cucumber, and tomatoes!.
*Cob Salad: lettuce, avocado, grilled chicken breast, blue cheese, bacon, cucumber, tomatoes, and bell peppers!.
*Greek salad: lettuce, cucumber, tomato, olives, finely chopped onion, and feta cheese!. Grilled chicken breast optional!.
*Chef's Salad: Lettuce, tomato, cabbage, cucumber, chicken, ham, cheddar cheese, hard boiled eggs, and carrots!.
Yummy things for just any salad can be fresh or dried fruit (apples, pears, cranberries, figs, orange, and tangerine are my favorite), nuts and seeds (almonds, walnuts, pecans, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds), lightly steamed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, beets, zucchini, string beans), legumes (black, white, red, pinto beans, garbanzo beans), cheese, cold cuts, and meat!. Pretty much anything you like!. Experiment with different combinations, have fun, and enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

What I always put on my salad is cut lettuce, slice cucumbers, slice tomatoes, slice peppers (any kind), cut broccoli and sometimes sliced onions!. Then, what I do is squeeze a little bit of lemon and add a little salt and mix it all up!. I like my salads a little sour so sometimes add a pinch or two of citric acid, but that's optional!. I really like it that way! =)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Corn
Blackened chicken

Tomatoes

Roast your own bell peppers

When shrimp are on sale use them or even use canned shrimp next to the tuna at the store!.

You could even blacken the shrimp when you find a deal on fresh raw shrimp!.

Look for good deals on salmon and add that!. Or just get like 1-2 oz!. It will be a good deal and a special treat for your salad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
