# Cover scallops in flour!. Make sure you have covered the entire scallop to ensure they cook properly!.

# Once the butter and oil are warm add crushed garlic and cook it until it is brown!.

# Once the scallops have gotten a nice golden color then garnish them with parsley!. Serve immediately!.

for the shrimp

try delicious and simple lemon garlic shrimp

Ingredients

* 1/2 pound cooked thawed shrimp
* juice from 1 lemon
* 1/2 stick of butter
* 1 tsp minced garlic
* 1 tsp red pepper flakes
* freshly ground black pepper, sea salt

# Place butter, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper, and red pepper flakes in skillet over medium heat!. Allow butter to melt and continue to let the mixture simmer for a few moments longer until it turns a slight golden brown color in the pan!.

# Now add shrimp, and toss to coat in the mixture over the heat!. Since the shrimp is already cooked you are simply heating it up and allowing it to become one with the mixture in the pan!. Be careful not to overcook shrimp, it should only take 4-5 minutes for shrimp to reach a good temperature, but use your discretion!.

# Remove from skillet and serve with rice, pasta, or by its self as a stand alone!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make a marinara sauce (tomato based with garlic and onion) and poach the scallops and shrimp in that (if the shrimp is raw I suggest saute them first in butter to cook until no longer transparent) the scallops don't need much time to cook that way!. Servce over fettucine or spaghetti noodles!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
