Milk sub for pancakes?!

Question: Milk sub for pancakes!?
I want pancakes but I have no milk and don't have money at the moment!. But I do have liquid butter pecan flavored International Delight coffee creamer!. Would that work!? How would it change the consistency if at all!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
The question is are you using a pancake mix or from scratch!. If from scratch, then you can try it - use 50/50 ratio creamer to water to cut the thickness!. It actually should make them fairly similar to regular since it is also a source of fat - just a different kind! They may be a touch tougher, but would not think enough to matter!.

You may have discovered a whole new way to make flavored pancakes!

You could use that but water would work too!.
