When flour beetles, living or dead, have bored holes through the package, THAT'S when you know it's bad!. Throw IT OUT(They defecate in the flour after they eat)!.They're tiny red beetles that bore through flour packages that are not put in a solid container!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

When it has bugs in it!.!.!.that's the only time it goes bad!.!.!.!.baking powder goes "bad" though, to check this!.!.!.put a teaspoon of baking powder in a small glass of warm water and if it fizzes its still good!.!.!.:)Www@FoodAQ@Com

White bleached flour will last a long time!.

Whole wheat should be kept in the fridge or freezer as it can go rancid!.
You can tell if it doesn't smell good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
