Do Lobsters feel pain when they are boiled alive?!

Question: Do Lobsters feel pain when they are boiled alive!?
If so, how long do they suffer!? Is ther a more humane way of cooking them without tainting the meat!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Probably not!. Years ago, I was working at a restaurant and was badly burnt in a deep fryer accident!. It hurt for only about 2 seconds!. The burn was so bad, it killed the nerves!. I didn't get any feeling back for 3 years!. The lobster won't suffer much; it'll be dead in a matter of seconds!.

I've heard you can stroke their stomachs and put them to sleep and then boil them!. (This works with chickens, too!. I've done it; though, not the boiling part!.)

Another method is to severe the nerve in their neck with a chef's knife!.

also, try placing the lobster in a cold oven on a sheet pan and then set the temp to 350 F!. By the time the oven pre-heats, the lobsters will be dead!. Apparently, they don't feel it because the heat rises gradually!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Of course they do!. The question is what is the duration!. It would appear from what I have read that the pain is excruciating and lasts from 5-20 seconds!. I don't think there is any more humane way to do it so it "boils" down to either eat them or not!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i think like about 5 min cuz my dad was making lobsters for dinner and he cooked them alive and i was watching them and then they died when 5 min past or some times in a few min :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

probably thats why they do that scream when you put them in the water-they dont suffer very long because they are cooked within a minute unti there shells are red!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes and not sure how long thay suffer but I think thay suffer for a few minutes and I don't know if it another way without tainting the meat at all!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I LOVE EATING LOBSTER!

They don't have big enough brains to perceive pain, don't worry about it!

Wanna go on a lobster date with me!? YummmmWww@FoodAQ@Com

I think they do feel pain!. The only, more humane way, would be to kill them quickly first!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
