I forgot to butter my pan before I put the cake batter in...?!

Question: I forgot to butter my pan before I put the cake batter in!.!.!.!?
Hey everyone!
I'm baking a Duncer Hines extra moist cake and I forgot to butter the pan, I just put the batter right in! Will my cake come out of the pan!?!? Or will it crumble to pieces :( What do I do!? It's already in the oven now, so I need things I can do for while it's cooling/after it's done baking!. Thanks!

It's not a deep pan, circular, and not super big, but big enough!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The best chance you have is to as soon as it is done to use a knife, cut around the edges!. Than flip the whole thing over and pray that gravity will do the work!. To help it along you can tap the pan while it is upside down!. This may take a couple of minutes!. I hope this works for you, good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you have one of those really long flexible spatulas, you could scoot that around the edges and under the cake to try to get as much cake stick together as possible!. Then, let a huge glom of icing do it's work!. You may want to slice off the top 1/4 inch before you put on frosting!.

If you just want to eat cake, why not make cake balls out of it which means you crumble up the whole cake anyway!.

Well sometimes you do end up lucking out, so I will keep my finger crossed!.

The ideas of running the knife around the edges and then flipping it are your best bet!. Still let it cool for a few minutes though!.

If some of the bottom sticks don't worry it can be fixed!! Use a metal thin spautula to scrape the stuck on section off!. Then lay it back on the cake where it fits in!. Let the cake cool, then wrap in seran wrap and freeze!.

Then remove from the freezer, and take off the seran wrap!. Then ice and decorate!. You will never know that the bottom stuck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try flipping it over onto a cooling rack and placing a wet cloth on the bottom of the pan as soon as it comes out of the oven!. Sometimes the steam will help release the cake!. But, yeah, it'll be stuck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you just have to take a knife and scrape the sides gently to loosen the cake and then gently try to pop it out!.!.try bang the bottom of the pan!.!.if it crumbles just carefully put it on a plate and put frosting on top to disguise it!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try to get it out in 1 piece!. If that doesnt work try a few small cakes and frost them!. If that doesnt work then pull it out in crumbles and mix it into vanilla ice cream with fudge and other mix-ins!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it's non-stick pan, you should be ok!. Just run a knife around the edge when it cools before you invert it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yeah, it's going to stick!.
sorry!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It will be stuck!.!.!.its kinda too late!Www@FoodAQ@Com
